About Our Founders
Before his friends urged him to start his own company in 2004, Rod Yoder worked with the maintenance team at LeVeque Tower for more than twenty years. As he worked there, he gained enough certifications and years of experience to co-found R & T Yoder Electric with his wife, Tina.
As they worked to become a thriving local business, Rod and Tina acted as a team: Rod doing the electrical work, Tina performing the back-end administration tasks. Thanks to their hard work, they went from working out of their tiny home office to having locations in multiple places, including Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, and Cincinnati.
Yoder Electric and Yoder Plumbing
The more Yoder Electric grew, the more services Rod, Tina, and their team could offer to clients. Today, they provide both residential and commercial services. Their team works hard to provide routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, the installation of eco-friendly solar panels and EV chargers, plumbing services, and more.
With the help of their children Mitchell and Vincent, Rod and Tina created a sister company called Yoder Plumbing. Yoder Plumbing offers top-notch plumbing services in Columbus, OH and the surrounding communities. The plumbing team has fully dedicated itself to providing premier plumbing work and excellent customer service to Columbus residents, which is why the owners feel confident in branching out into HVAC services, as well.
